About this policy

The policy below applies to tcgviber.com, which is operated by TCG Viber at 〒170-0013 Tokyo, Toshima City, Higashiikebukuro 1-23-9, Kindai Building 10, 4F, Japan. Send privacy questions to info@tcgviber.com.

Information we gather

• Orders: who you are, where the bill and the parcel go, your email and phone, what you purchase, how you pay and your earlier orders.
• Accounts: when you register, the email you log in with, a password stored only as a secure hash and any addresses you save.
• Communications: anything you send through our contact form, chat window or inbox, along with your address if you join the mailing list.
• Technical data: the IP address and browser you use, and which pages you open. The IP address also tells us roughly which country you are in, so prices can be shown in local currency.

Payment data

This site never collects or stores card numbers. A card payment takes place on the payment provider’s own page, reached through the link we email you, and NOWPayments handles crypto payments. For bank transfers and payment apps, what reaches us is the sender name and reference that our bank or the app displays.

What we do with it

• process, ship and track what you order
• get in touch about payment, delivery or other matters tied to your order
• respond to your chats and messages
• send the newsletter, but only to people who signed up (email us whenever you want to unsubscribe)
• guard against fraud and protect the site
• maintain the books that tax and accounting law demand

Who receives your data

• Carriers: your name, phone and delivery address, which they need to bring you the parcel.
• Customs authorities: what the commercial invoice says, for parcels that cross borders.
• Payment providers: the information needed to collect your payment.
• Hosting and email providers: the companies that keep the website and our mailbox running.
• Live chat (Tawk.to): when the widget loads, it gets your IP address, browser details and the pages you browse, plus whatever you type in the chat, so our team can answer.
• Public authorities: whenever the law demands it.

Selling personal information is something we never do.

Our use of cookies

We set cookies to keep the cart and checkout working, hold your login, recall your currency choice, save wishlist and compare items, and register that our cookie notice has been seen. Tawk.to, our live chat provider, also sets cookies so a conversation can carry on from page to page. Advertising cookies are not used here.

Processing outside Japan

Our base is Japan, but the providers we work with may handle data in other countries. When that happens, we rely only on providers we trust to keep it protected.

Retention

We retain order records for the period that tax and bookkeeping rules prescribe. Messages and newsletter sign-ups are kept until you ask for deletion or unsubscribe.

Keeping data secure

All pages of the site are served over HTTPS, and only the people who need customer information to run the shop can get to it.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the personal information we have about you, to have it corrected or erased, or to stop receiving marketing emails. Depending on your location, you may have extra rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Japan’s APPI. Email info@tcgviber.com to make a request. Some records may have to stay with us where the law requires that.

Policy updates

Whenever this policy is revised, the updated text goes on this page and the date above is refreshed.
